Bing Slamet
(lahir di Cilegon, Banten, 27 September 1927 – meninggal diJakarta, 17 September 1974 pada umur 46 tahun)
Dilahirkan dengan nama Ahmad Syech Albar adalah salah satu maestro lawak Indonesia pada masanya bersama Kwartet Jaya, grup yang terdiri dari Bing Slamet, Ateng, Iskak dan Eddy Sud. Namanya sebenarnya pertama kali berkibar ketika bergabung dengan grup musik Eka Sapta yang dimulai pada tahun 1963, bersama beberapa nama terkenal seperti Yamin Wijaya, Ireng Maulana, Itje Kumaunang, Benny Mustapha dan Idris Sardi. Selain itu dia juga banyak bermain dalam film-film komedi pada era tahun 1960-an dan 1970-an. Untuk mengenang kepergiannya, Titiek Puspa menciptakan lagu berjudul Bing.
Awal Karier
Ayahnya seorang mantri pasar bernama Rintrik Achmad. Bing Slamet seolah dilahirkan sebagai penghibur yang bertugas menghibur siapa saja. Bahagia dan gelak tawa kelak merupakan jasa yang ditampilkan Bing dalam kesempatan apa saja termasuk menghibur para pejuang dengan berkeliling Indonesia antara kurun waktu 1942-1945. Di balik corong mikrophone radio, Bing bahkan tampil sebagai agitator yang menyemangati pejuang menghalau kaum penjajah.
Sejak tahun 1939 dalam usia 12 tahun, Bing Slamet telah ikut mendukung Orkes Terang Bulan yang dipimpin Husin Kasimun.
Bakat seninya yang luarbiasa mulai terlihat di sini. Setahun menjelang proklamasi kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia, Bing ikut bergabung dengan kelompok teater Pantja Warna.
Tampaknya, seni merupakan dunia yang dipeluk Bing Slamet. Ia bahkan menampik keinginan orang tuanya yang mendamba sang putera tercinta untuk menjadi dokter maupun insinyur. Walau sempat mengenyam bangku HIS Pasundan, HIS Tirtayasa, Sjugakko, dan STM Pertambangan. Pilihan Bing bulat: mengabdi untuk seni.

Bing Slamet lalu bergabung pula pada Divisi I Brawijaya sebagai Barisan Penghibur. Di sini, kemampuannya bermusik dan melawak mulai terasah. Seolah tanpa pamrih, Bing lalu bersedia ditempatkan di kota mana saja. Bing yang mulai masuk Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) kemudian ditempatkan di Yogyakarta dan Malang. Ia pun sempat bergabung di Radio Perjuangan Jawa Barat.

Pada tahun 1949, untuk pertama kali suara baritone Bing Slamet menghiasi soundtrack film Menanti Kasih yang dibesut Mohammad Said dengan bintang A. Hamid Arief dan Nila Djuwita.
Kariernya di bidang tarik suara sebetulnya terlecut ketika memasuki dunia radio. Di RRI, Bing Slamet banyak menyerap ilmu dan pengalaman dari pemusik Iskandar dan pemusik keroncong tenar, M Sagi, serta sahabat-sahabat musikal lainnya seperti Sjaifoel Bachrie, Soetedjo, dan Ismail Marzuki. Dan, yang banyak memengaruhinya adalah penyanyi Sam Saimun yang dikenalnya sejak bertugas di Yogyakarta pada tahun 1944. Bagi Bing, Sam Saimun adalah tokoh penyanyi panutannya. Tak sedikit yang menyebut timbre vokal Bing sangat mirip dengan Sam Saimun.
Dan dia meninggal di Jakarta pada tanggal 17 Desember 1974 karena penyakit liver yang ia derita. Sebelum menghembuskan nafas terakhir, ia sempat bermain film terakhirnya berjudul Bing Slamet Koboi Cengeng yang dibintangi oleh Ateng dan Iskak.

Biography of Agnez Mo
Agnes Monica Muljoto known by her stage name Agnez Mo born 1 July 1986, is an Indonesian singer, songwriter, and actress. Born in Jakarta, she started her career in the entertainment industry at the age of six as a child singer. She has recorded three children's albums and became a presenter of several children's television programs. In 2003, Mo released her first adult album entitled And the Story Goes, which catapulted her name back in the Indonesian music industry. Mo's success in homeland encouraged her to set a target to get a career in the international music scene. On the second album released in 2005, Whaddup A.. '?!, she collaborated with American singer Keith Martin for single "I'll Light a Candle". Mo also took part in two Taiwanese drama series, The Hospital and Romance In The White House. Mo won the award two years in a row for her performances in the Asia Song Festival in Seoul, South Korea, in 2008 and 2009. With her third album, Sacredly Agnezious (2009), she began to get involved as producer and songwriter. In 2010, she was appointed as a judge on the talent show, Indonesian Idol. She signed a recording deal with The Cherry Party, a label ventured with Sony Music Entertainment. Mo has released two international singles, "Coke Bottle" (featuring Timbaland and T.I.) and "Boy Magnet". In addition to commercial success, Mo is a singer with the most number of awards in Indonesia.
She has won dozens of trophies, including 17 Anugerah Musik Indonesia, 8 Panasonic Awards, 5 Nickelodeon Indonesia Kids' Choice Awards, and 4 MTV Indonesia Awards. She achieved a Best Asian Artist Award on the 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards in South Korea. In addition, she has been trusted to be anti-drug ambassador in Asia as well as the ambassador of MTV EXIT in combating human trafficking.
Life and career
Childhood and early career
Agnes Monica Muljoto was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, to a family of Chinese ancestry. She is the youngest child of Jenny Siswono, a former table tennis player, and Ricky Muljoto, a former basketball player. Her older brother, Steve Muljoto, is her manager. She attended Tarakanita elementary school and Pelita Harapan junior/senior high school. Her talent in the performing arts has already seen in her childhood, especially in singing. She sang in church and was also sent to vocal courses.
Using Agnes Monica as her stage name, she entered the entertainment industry in 1992 with her first children's album, Si Meong In 1995, she released her second children's album, Yess!, which includes a duet with fellow Indonesian child singer, Eza Yayang. Her last children's album, Bala-Bala, was released the following year. Agnes also became the host for several children's programs, including Video Anak Anteve (VAN) on Anteve, Tralala-Trilili on RCTI, and Diva Romeo on Trans TV. She was awarded "Most Favorite Presenter of Children's Program" at the Panasonic Awards in 1999 and 2000 for Tralala-Trilili. Agnes began acting as a teenager. Her first two roles were on the soap operas: Lupus Millenia and Mr. Hologram in 1999. The next year, she starred in the TV series, Pernikahan Dini, which served as a turning point in her career by transforming her image from that of a child artist to one of a teenage artist. The production was well received by audiences, and she received the "Favorite Actress" award at the 2001 and 2002 Panasonic Awards, as well as the "Famous Actress" award at the 2002 SCTV Awards. In 2002, Mo starred in three soap operas: Ciuman Pertama, Kejar Daku Kau Ku Tangkap, and Amanda. Due to her popularity, she became the highest-paid teenage artist in Indonesia. Agnes started her comeback in music industry with Melly Goeslaw penned songs "Pernikahan Dini" and "Seputih Hati" for the soundtrack of Pernikahan Dini. Both songs were featured on the 2001 compilation album, Love Theme.
Agnes signed a record deal with Aquarius Musikindo and began working on her teen breakthrough album. She also collaborated with the Indonesian senior singer, Yana Julio, in the song "Awan dan Ombak" for his 2002 studio album, Jumpa Lagi.
2003–2006: And The Story Goes, TV series, and Whaddup A.. '?!
On 8 October 2003, Agnes released her first adult album, And the Story Goes, in which she worked with several famed Indonesian producers and songwriters, including Ahmad Dhani, Melly Goeslaw, and Titi DJ The album production took a year and a half, including the audition process for the dancers. According to her record label, Aquarius Musikindo, the album sold 35,000 copies before its official release. It was later certified double platinum after selling more than 300,000 copies. Four singles were released from the album: "Bilang Saja", "Indah", "Jera" and "Cinta Mati" (featuring Ahmad Dhani).
The album received ten nominations at the 2004 Anugerah Musik Indonesia—the highest music awards in Indonesia. She won three awards for "Best Pop Female Solo Artist", "Best Dance/Techno Production Work", and "Best Pop Duo/Group" for her duet with Dhani. She also won "Best Female Newcomer Artist" at the 2004 Anugerah Planet Muzik in Singapore. In addition to promoting her debut album, Agnes also starred in several TV series during this time, playing the lead role in three: Cewekku Jutek, Bunga Perawan, and Cantik. She won "Favorite Actress" at the 2003 Panasonic Awards and "Famous Actress" at 2004 SCTV Awards. A special episode of Cewekku Jutek was shot on location in various popular tourist attractions around Melbourne, Australia. A local Latin-Australian actor Maurice Novoa Ruiz was hired as a supporting actor to Agnes for the role as director to her music video during the episode. Agnez had the pleasure of filming in and visiting places like the Sovereign Hill gold mine in Ballarat, Puffing Billy Railway, a vintage steam train that runs through the Dandenong Ranges, as well as the Great Ocean Road an Australian Heritage Listed coastal road renowned for featuring The Twelve Apostles it is considered one of the world's most scenic drives. On 10 December 2005. It featured five singles: "Bukan Milikmu Lagi", "Tanpa Kekasihku", "Tak Ada Logika", "Cinta Di Ujung Jalan", and "Tak Mungkin". In addition to working with Indonesian musicians, such as Melly Goeslaw, Andi Rianto, and Erwin Gutawa, she also collaborated with American singer-songwriter, Keith Martin. Martin wrote two English songs for the album, including the duet "I'll Light a Candle".
To promote the album, Agnes held a concert tour known as Clasnezenzation in four Indonesian cities: Bandar Lampung, Surabaya, Bandung, and Makassar. The album was commercially successful and she won two 2006 Anugerah Musik Indonesia for "Best Pop Female Solo Artist" and "Best R&B Production Work". She also won the "Most Favorite Female" award at the 2006 MTV Indonesia Awards. She was nominated for "Favorite Artist Indonesia" award at the 2005 MTV Asia Awards (beaten by Peterpan), but she grabs the youngest artist of all nominees in Asian category. Selling more than 450,000 copies, the album was one of the top-selling albums of 2006 and was certified triple platinum. In 2005, Agnes appeared in the Taiwanese drama, The Hospital, co-starring with Jerry Yan, a member of the Taiwanese boyband, F4. She also appeared with Peter Ho in several episodes of the Taiwanese drama, Romance in the White House, and starred in two Indonesian soap operas: Ku T'lah Jatuh Cinta and Pink, both televised on Indosiar.
In 2006, she starred in the RCTI soap opera, Kawin Muda. Biography of Indonesian singer Vina Panduwinata
Dewi Sastaviyana Panduwinata, better known by her stage name Vina Panduwinata, is an Indonesian singer and songwriter. The song "Kumpul Bocah" is cited as her signature song. Her song "Burung Camar" was listed by Rolling Stone Indonesia as the 28th-best Indonesian song of all time.
Biography
Panduwinata was born in Bogor, West Java, on 6 August 1959 to Raden Panduwinata and Albertine Supit; she was the eighth of ten children. Her father was a diplomat who was first stationed in India, but later went to West Germany from 1975 to 1979. While in Germany, she recorded an album for RCA Records entitled Java, which included four tracks; it was released in 1978.

After returning to Indonesia from Germany in 1981, Panduwinata made her debut Indonesian album, Citra Biru (Blue Image). The album was produced by Addie MS and featured songs written by numerous songwriters, including James F. Sundah and Dodo Zakaria; it was released on Jackson Records and Tapes. This was followed by Citra Pesona (Enchanting Image). In 1982 Panduwinata went to Thailand to perform at the Bangkok International Film Festival together with Roy Marten, Melky Goeslaw, and Dewi Yull.
In 1983 Panduwinata was invited by Chrisye to perform "Kisah Insani" ("Humans' Tale"), a duet on Chrisye's album Sendiri (Alone). In Chrisye's biography, Panduwinata said that she was surprised and shocked by the invitation. The following year she released her third studio album, Citra Ceria (Bright Image), which included the single "Di Dadaku Ada Kamu" ("In My Chest There is You").

Two years later, Panduwinata sung "Burung Camar" ("Seagull") at the 1985 Indonesian Pop Song Festival; she went on to sing it at the World Popular Song Festival in Japan. Panduwinata released several further albums, including Cinta (Love; 1985), Cium Pipiku (Kiss My Cheek; 1987), Wow! (1989), and Rasa Sayang Itu Ada (That Loving Feeling is There; 1992).
On 8 November 2001, Panduwinata performed at the Divas of Southeast Asia concert held in Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta together with Indonesian singers Krisdayanti and Titi DJ, Filipino singer Kuh Ledesma, and Malaysian singers Siti Nurhaliza, Fauziah Latiff, and Sheila Majid. Attended by 2,000 people, the concert saw Panduwinata perform a medley of four of her songs as well as a duet with Majid.
On 18 February 2006 Panduwinata held a solo concert, Viva Vina, at the Plenary Hall of the Jakarta Convention Centre. At the concert, attended by 3,000 people, she performed a set of 23 songs beginning with "Aku Makin Cinta". Wearing three costumes during the concert, beginning with a modified kebaya and ending with an Anne Avantie design, Panduwinata received a standing ovation at the end.

Three years later, Panduwinata held the Fantastic Gold Vina Panduwinata to celebrate her birthday. She also donated the dress that she had worn in the Viva Vina concert to the Hard Rock Cafe Jakarta. In 2010 she released a collaborative album, entitled Kekuatan Cinta (The Power of Love), which dealt with themes of life, religion, and love.

Panduwinata was influenced by the vocal stylings of Dionne Warwick, Samantha Sang, Barbra Streisand, and Karen Carpenter. She further influenced other Indonesian and Malaysian singers, including Sheila Majid.

Vina Panduwinata married Boy Haryanto Joedo Soembono on 26 November 1989. They have a son, Joedo Harvianto Kartiko. Vina's nephews, Shaka Tamaputra Panduwinata and Miguel Gyasi Panduwinata, who held Dutch passport, have become victims of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 in Eastern Ukraine.

Vina Panduwinata yang bernama asli Vina Dewi Sastaviyana Panduwinata lahir di Bogor, 6 Agustus 1959 adalah salah satu diva musik pop berkebangsaan Indonesia. Lagunya yang terkenal adalah Burung Camar (1985). Vina adalah anak ke-8 dari 10 bersaudara pasangan R. Panduwinata dan Albertine Supit. Vina menikah dengan Boy Haryanto Joedo Soembono pada tanggal 26 November 1989. Pernikahan ini dikaruniai seorang anak, Joedo Harvianto Kartiko (Vito). 2 orang keponakan Vina, Shaka Tamaputra Panduwinata dan Miguel Gyasi Panduwinata yang memegang paspor Belanda, adalah 2 dari 298 korban kecelakaan Malaysia Airlines Penerbangan 17 di Ukraina Timur.
Vina dibesarkan dalam keluarga pecinta musik. Bakat menyanyi Vina menurun dari sang ibu yang berdarah Ambon - Manado, Albertine Supit. Sejak kecil Vina seringkali berpindah-pindah negara mengikuti tugas ayahnya, R Panduwinata, sebagai diplomat. Masa sekolah dasar Vina habiskan di Bogor dan New Delhi, India. SMP dia habiskan di Bogor dan Wassenaar, Belanda. Saat memasuki sekolah menengah atas, Vina pindah ke Jerman Barat. Di sana, anak kedelapan dari 10 bersaudara ini sempat belajar selama empat tahun di Sekolah Musik Yamaha. Vina pun pernah membuat rekaman single di perusahaan rekaman RCA Hamburg, Jerman, yaitu Java dan Single Bar (1978) dan Sorry Sorry dan Touch Me (1979).
Pada tahun 1981, wanita berdarah Sunda-Manado-Ambon ini kembali ke Indonesia dan bertemu dengan musisi Mogi Darusman yang tertarik dengan karakter vokal Vina dan mengenalkannya pada berbagai perusahaan rekaman. Akhirnya Jackson Records yang tertarik membuatkan album untuk Vina. Album perdananya di bawah Jackson Records bertajuk Citra Biru (1981). Album yang memuat lagu "Citra Biru" itu memperkenalkan nama Vina di belantika musik Tanah Air.
Album kedua dirilis setahun kemudian bertajuk Citra Pesona (1982) melibatkan pencipta lagu seperti Dodo Zakaria, James F Sundah, plus penata musik Addie M.S. Album yang mulai melambungkan nama Vina itu berisi lagu antara lain "September Ceria", "Dunia yang Kudamba", "Resah", dan "Kasmaran". Album ketiga Citra Ceria (1984) pun berhasil merengkuh simpati dengan lagu "Di Dadaku Ada Kamu", "Duniaku Tersenyum", dan "Di antara Kita". Lewat albumnya Burung Camar (1985), namanya semakin mencuat. Lagunya dengan judul yang sama dalam album tersebut menjadi icon dirinya, dengan sebutan 'Vina si Burung Camar'.
Di luar album, Vina berjaya di ajang festival. Tiga kali berturutan ia mendapat gelar penyanyi berpenampilan terbaik pada Festival Lagu Populer Nasional. Tahun 1983 ia menang lewat lagu "Salamku Untuknya" ciptaan Adji Soetama dan Irianti Erningpradja. Kemudian "Aku Melangkah Lagi" (Santoso Gondowidjojo, 1984), serta "Burung Camar" (Aryono Huboyo Djati dan Iwan Abdulrachman, 1985).
Tahun 1987 Vina tetap prima lewat album Cium Pipiku yang memuat lagu populer seperti "Cium Pipiku", "Surat Cinta", "Biru", dan "Logika". Era 1990-an, Vina tetap populer lewat lagu seperti "Rasa Sayang Itu Ada" pada 1991. Tahun 1992 keluar single "Mutiara yang Hilang" yang pernah dipopulerkan Ernie Djohan pada akhir 1960-an. Vina juga berduet dengan Broery Pesulima lewat lagu "Bahasa Cinta". Vina juga memopulerkan lagu ciptaan Loka M Prawiro, "Aku Makin Cinta". Bahkan lagu tersebut menjadi jingle iklan sebuah merek sabun colek.
Setelah malang melintang di dunia musik tanah air selama 25 tahun dan menelurkan belasan album, Vina menggelar Konser Tunggal bertajuk Viva Vina pada 18 Februari 2006. Dalam konser yang juga dihadiri pesohor seperti Guruh Soekarnoputra, maestro Idris Sardi, Titiek Puspa dan diva Malaysia, Sheila Majid, Vina membawakan 23 lagu selama 3 jam pergelaran. Dalam konser yang didukung oleh konduktor piawai, Addie M.S., hampir semua pencipta lagu-lagu Vina berkumpul. Di antaranya Oddie Agam, Randy Anwar, Aminoto Kosim, James F. Sundah, Deddy Dhukun, Adjie Soetama, dan Fariz RM. Setelah sukses menggelar konser tunggal, Vina kembali mengeluarkan album The Best berisi lagu-lagu hit dari 1981-2006. Dalam album ini, Vina memilih lagu berjudul "Sejujurnya", sebagai single albumnya.
Perjalanan panjang bermusik Vina menjadi lengkap saat Anugerah Musik Indonesia (AMI) memberi penghargaan Lifetime Achievement 2006. Vina mendapatkan penghargaan tersebut atas dedikasi dan prestasinya sepanjang hidupnya yang diperuntukan bagi musik, selain itu, saat ini Vina aktif sebagai juri di Indonesia's Got Talent di Indosiar.
